Senior Driver Refresher Course can reduce insurance rates

The next scheduled sessions of “Getting There Safely,” a senior driver refresher course, will occur on Thursday, July 7 and Friday, July 8, 2011.

The classes will be held at the Mount Vernon Senior Center, 1401 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA, 98273.
This eight-hour class, divided into two four-hour sessions, is specifically designed for the senior driver. The sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. both days. People 55 years of age and older who complete the program will qualify for a modest reduction in their automobile insurance.
